“ We moved near this Forest Park location during the pandemic and were very pleased with their take-out menu. LOVE the taco salads, the elote is delicious as are the margaritas and the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is due to their use of styrofoam for take-out and always including plastic silverware without asking if it's needed. We really try to limit our use of plastics. We haven't eaten there in a couple of months, so perhaps that has changed. We'll check in next time we want to order from them. Also, they took flan off the menu during the pandemic and we really, really love flan! Kate L ”

“ I recently just tried Tacabron. It's a Mexican restaurant in Forest Park right off the Harlem exit of I290. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth checking out. First, the food is very good. I ordered the chicken burrito, chicken burrito bowl, quesabirria tacos, churros, a lime margarita and a mango margarita. I enjoyed all of the dishes I tried. I particularly liked the quesabirria tacos. The meat tasted very good and it was very cheesy. The consommé for the quesabirria tacos was also good. Of the margaritas, I liked the mango margarita the best. Second, the the service was very good. The restaurant is best described as quick service. You order at the counter, and then they will bring your food. They are very fast at preparing my food and bringing it to me. Third, I liked the atmosphere. It was laid back. There are several wooden benches. I would describe the decor as rustic. In sum, this is a must visit Mexican restaurant. ”

“ Tacabron is one of my favorite TACO PLACES. The food is authentic and delicious. I live near North ave and Harlem and there is no place close to us that has great authentic Mexican food. Today my husband took our daughter to her soccer game and picked up tacos after the game. I know they were super busy because it's May 10th (Mexican Mother's Day). My husband gets home and everyone's order is in there but mine. I call them and they put me on hold. What else could I do? I drove 4 miles back to TACABRON. I have to say the lady taking the orders with the curly hair in the pony tail is a GEM. Very kind and friendly. I told her and she offered me an extra taco for having to go back. The short girl who was working the front was not happy. She must have thought I was lying but I don't know who would drive back 30 minutes later and lie about an order. I always tell everyone how great this place it. Please double check the orders. No one wants to go back for missing food. All that said, thank you to the lady with the curly hair pony tail. You are a classy, gem. ”
